This is a portrait of Alexander Burns Shand (Baron Shand), born December 13, 1848 at Aberdeen. In 1872 he became one of the few judges to hear civil cases from Scotland. This is an Archival Giclee Reproduction of an original Spy Print published by Vanity Fair on July 23, 1902.
